Tom Spencer is Head of Customer Data Science at Aviva. He is passionate about using data to deliver better customer outcomes.
Tom’s background is in retail customer analytics, with fourteen years’ front-line experience at Dunnhumby, the world’s leading customer data science company. Starting out as a hands-on data analyst, career highlights include establishing Dunnhumby Korea as analytics lead, heading-up the Asia region’s analyst teams, and leading the South Korea business as Country Head.
Tom is currently no.9 in DataIQ 100 most influential people in data. His team won Best Place to Work in Data in the DataIQ Awards in 2019 & 2020. He is also co-chair of Aviva’s Diversity & Inclusion gender balance community.
